WrestleMania 42 is three weeks away — April 18–19, 2026 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas — and the card is shaping up to be one of the most stacked in years. Six matches are already confirmed. The rest? We're calling them now.
The Confirmed Matches
- Date: April 18–19, 2026
- Venue: Allegiant Stadium, Las Vegas
- Stream: Netflix (US & worldwide)
- Nights: Two-night event
- Confirmed Matches: 6 announced so far
- Expected Total: 14–16 matches across both nights
Night 1 — Saturday, April 18
🏆 Undisputed WWE Championship: Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Randy Orton
This is the headliner of Night 1. Rhodes and Orton share deep history — both former members of The Legacy stable — and their feud has been building with real personal stakes. Orton is the consummate veteran challenger; Rhodes is the babyface champion who can't afford to look weak.
The call: Cody Rhodes retains in a near-30-minute match of the year contender. Orton gets his moment — RKO outta nowhere, 2.9 kick-out — but Cody hits Cross Rhodes twice and survives. The story demands Cody's reign continue into summer.
🏆 WWE Women's World Championship: Stephanie Vaquer (c) vs. Liv Morgan
Vaquer has been one of the best in-ring performers in WWE since signing in 2024, and this is her WrestleMania coronation moment — or the match where Morgan recaptures the gold with maximum heel heat. Either outcome works for business.
The call: Vaquer retains. Morgan is great as champion, but Vaquer's momentum is too strong to derail at 'Mania.
🏆 Women's Intercontinental Championship: AJ Lee vs. Becky Lynch
The return of AJ Lee has been one of the year's biggest surprises. Facing Becky Lynch — arguably WWE's most decorated women's star of the modern era — at WrestleMania is a bucket-list dream match.
The call: Becky Lynch wins to add the Women's IC title to her legacy. A feel-good moment the crowd will eat alive.
Night 2 — Sunday, April 19
🏆 World Heavyweight Championship: CM Punk (c) vs. Roman Reigns
The main event of Night 2. Roman Reigns won the 2026 Men's Royal Rumble and pointed at CM Punk — the World Heavyweight Champion and the man who has arguably usurped him as WWE's top star. The match writes itself: the old tribal chief vs. the second-generation legend. Both are believable winners.
The call: CM Punk wins — just barely. Reigns gets his redemption arc, but Punk is in a career moment he can't lose. Expect a long match, soli interference, and a disputed finish that sets up a rematch or a Tribal Chief turn.
CM Punk vs. Roman Reigns
- Punk: 3x World Champ | 434 days as WWE Champ | Face of Raw
- Reigns: 2026 Royal Rumble winner | 1316-day Universal Title reign | Head of the Table
- Edge: Punk (momentum, crowd)
🏆 WWE Women's Championship: Jade Cargill vs. Rhea Ripley
Two absolute powerhouses. Cargill is unfinished business — her early WWE run was derailed by injury. Ripley is one of the most credible champions in company history.
The call: Rhea Ripley wins the title back. The Mami returns.
Brock Lesnar vs. Oba Femi
Lesnar's semi-retirement means every appearance is a big deal. Oba Femi is the monster heel who needs a signature WrestleMania moment to fully arrive. Femi attacked Lesnar on the March 16 Raw to kick this feud off hot.
The call: Oba Femi wins in a war. Brock does the J.O.B. — he's done it for stars before — and Femi becomes the next big thing.
